Technology Playing Role In How Farmers Efficiently Use Water

Phoenix is hosting the American Farm Bureau’s annual convention — it continues today downtown.

Something that’ll be on the minds of many attendees is water, specifically how to use it effectively and efficiently, and how technology may play a role in doing that.

To talk about it, I’m joined by Robyn Lawson — she’s a partner with her Arizona family farm, which is called Tierra Verde Farms. She’s also a field technology specialist with the firm Wilbur Ellis.

Lawson discusses how she started implementing technology that changes the way she uses water, and the amount of water she uses.
