New AZCIR Report Looks At Civil Asset Forfeiture In Arizona

Law-enforcement agencies across the state seized almost $200 million in property over the past five years – and it was all taken legally.

That’s among the findings of a new report looking at civil asset forfeiture from the Arizona Center for Investigative Reporting.

Jim Small is the Center’s executive director and editor, and starts off defining terms on what exactly is civil asset forfeiture.
