If you’ve ever been to a sporting event — from Little League all the way up to professional — you’re used to hearing a lot of noise.
Sometimes it’s just from the buzz of thousands of fans. At others, it’s because of the general excitement, the anticipation of something significant happening.
But the atmosphere at a game of goalball is completely different. Fans and coaches are asked to be as quiet as possible because the visually-impaired players need to be able to hear the ball.
