Most people don’t choose to go into solitary confinement. Especially if they’ve already been in. But, that’s exactly what James Burns did.
The director and producer recently spent a month in solitary confinement in the La Paz County Jail for an upcoming documentary on Vice Media. He just got out last week.
Burns also spent time in solitary as a teenager. He’s back in New York and joins me.
