Phoenix Women's March Organizers Talk About What Drew Them To Event

In the weeks since Election Day, protests have sprung up across the country against the incoming administration, and some of the policies it supports.

And, in the days leading up to the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump tomorrow, and the Women’s Marches scheduled to take place across the country on Saturday, we’ve been bringing you conversations on issues that affect women in particular, and that may change when the new administration takes office.

Today, we hear from two of the women organizing Phoenix’s march on Saturday: Eva Burch, an ER nurse who has been involved in marches before, and Juana Martinez-Neal, a children’s author and illustrator, who has not. Both are also moms.
