What Does 2017 Have In Store For Young-Adult Literature?

The world of young-adult literature has come a long way since 1967, when "The Outsiders" was published.

With me to look at what 2017 has in store for the genre is Jim Blasingame. He’s an English professor at ASU specializing in young-adult literature; he’s also the executive director of the Assembly on Young Adult Literature of the National Council of Teachers of English

Blasingame discusses if there are any overarching themes for this year that he's noticing.
