President Trump went prime time on Tuesday night in naming his first selection for the U.S. Supreme Court, which has been one jurist short since the death of Justice Antonin Scalia nearly a year ago.
When Trump had commented on a possible nominee, he emphasized choosing someone with a deeply conservative background. And the choice, 10th U.S. Circuit Court Judge Neil Gorsuch, certainly fits that description.
