UA Anthropology Professor Finds Clues On Demise Of Mayans

Archaeologists think they’ve found some new clues as to what led to the demise of the Mayan civilization. University of Arizona led the research team at a site in Guatemala.

Takeshi Inomata is a professor in the UA School of Anthropology.

The paper based on the research about new clues on the demise of the Mayan civilization is to be published this week in the "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences."
