The electronic drum machine has helped support some great music over the years, but it’s not often perceived to be part of a pure, organic creation of tunes.
So when you hear that artificial intelligence is being used to compose music, you may be a bit skeptical.
But Doug Eck of Google said his project Magenta is going to help enhance what creative people are doing.
We spoke with Eck about creativity and the next steps.
