Prescott has seen a boom in sober living houses where recovering addicts can live under a supervisor. Now the city is releasing a tool to track problems or complaints about those homes.
Prescott will launch a 24/7 hotline on Wednesday for residents to report any complaints about code enforcement or sober living homes.
Just recently the city passed laws on both vacation rentals and sober living homes to tighten regulations. The rules say homes need to be registered, have established training requirements and create a plan to discharge patients.
The hotline, 928-442-CODE (2633), will take complaints and submit them directly to law enforcement. Complaints can also be submitted on Prescott's website.
