A Scottsdale man has been indicted on federal fraud charges for alleged cyber crimes.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Michael Persaud used aliases to send over 1 million spam emails worldwide from several IP addresses and domains, a technique called “snowshoe spamming.”
Persaud was charged with ten counts of wire fraud. Each count is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
