A state Appeals Court will hear oral argument this morning in a long-running challenge to Arizona’s Medicaid expansion.
It’s been four years since former-Gov. Jan Brewer pushed the plan through the state Legislature and was then sued by Republican lawmakers.
More than 400,000 low-income residents are now covered.
In 2015, a trial court sided with the state and upheld the expansion, but the Goldwater Institute appealed that decision.
