The Legislature passed a bill Thursday allowing San Tan Valley to incorporate in growing Pinal County.
The bill bypassed concerns from nearby towns and now awaits Gov. Doug Ducey's signature.
The Senate passed House Bill 2088 on a 28-1 vote.
