A Phoenix man is now out of jail, but still facing charges and scrutiny after he took advantage of a cybersecurity flaw in the national 911 system.
Meetkumar Desai was arrested last October for tweeting out a link that when clicked on took over cellphones and forced them to repeatedly dial 911. The hack took down 911 call centers in several states.
Desai told authorities at the time that it was meant to be a prank and went awry.
Desai is several facing felony charges. A hearing for his case will be March 30.
