A former National Park Service employee was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Forty-seven-year-old Sharon Baldwin worked for the Petrified Forest National Park and was responsible for accounting for park entrance fees from visitors.
From 2010 through last year, Baldwin stole $313,000 while altering records to hide the missing money.
She pleaded guilty to the theft, has been ordered to pay back the money and was sentenced to a year in prison.
