Arizona’s Supreme Court is scheduled to rule today on the automatic appeal of a death row inmate convicted here and in Idaho in the murder of four people.
Abel Daniel Hidalgo was sentenced to death for the 2001 contract killing of a Phoenix auto-body shop owner and a shop upholsterer thought to be a witness.
Hidalgo also pleaded guilty in an Idaho federal court where he was sentenced to two life terms for the murder of two women a year after the auto shop killings.
