Groups Discuss Arizona Supreme Court Ruling On Min Wage

On Tuesday, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled the state’s voter-approved minimum wage law will stand.

The court unanimously rejected a lawsuit from the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and other business groups challenging Prop. 206, the law that raised the minimum wage to $10 an hour this year and will bump it up to $12 an hour by 2020.

In a few minutes, we’ll hear from the Arizona Chamber of Commerce president, but first, we’re joined by Tomas Robles, co-director of Living United for Change in Arizona, an organization that supports Prop. 206.

I'm joined by Glenn Hamer, president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, one of the groups that challenged the minimum wage measure.
