Head’s up for job seekers looking for work through the Arizona Job Connection website. The Department of Economic Security has confirmed someone hacked the employment site late Friday.
DES made the announcement two days after other states revealed they, too, were hacked. But Arizona investigators did not relay how many accounts were potentially compromised.
Delaware is one of nine other states involved in the breach. Investigators there estimate about 200,000 accounts were compromised.
For perspective, Delaware has less than a million residents, whereas Arizona has seven times that many.
Social security numbers and birthdates are recorded on the job link.
DES’s director said the agency will email individuals whose identity may have been compromised.
