Field trips to Arizona's Glen Canyon Dam are about to be a lot more interesting and relevant. The visitor center is unveiling big improvements Tuesday at its Lake Powell location in Paige, along the Utah-Arizona border.
The park service said it has installed new interactive displays with STEM style education, focusing on science, technology, engineering and math information.
It is the first full replacement of the center’s displays since it opened in 1968.
