Grand Canyon Maintenance Backlog Includes Water System

The National Park Service’s maintenance budget is about $12 billion behind where it should be. And a pretty big chunk of that is deferred maintenance at Grand Canyon National Park — around $347 million.

In his budget proposal, President Trump has called for cutting about $1.5 billion from the Interior Department, which includes the park service.
