Are Video Games, Virtual Reality To Blame For Violence?

Video games have long been held up as a possible factor for why some people commit violence. And the emergence of virtual reality as part of our leisure activity has amped up that kind of argument.

Some have even broached the idea of whether a murder committed in a virtual reality game should be declared illegal.

To dig deeper, we spoke with Chris Ferguson. He’s a psychology professor at Stetson University who studies media violence.
