The U.N. has called it the largest humanitarian crisis since 1945 — four countries in Africa and the Middle East are at risk of starvation and famine.
Mike Meyers, chief development officer for Phoenix-based Food for the Hungry, recently traveled to Uganda, where many South Sudanese refugees are fleeing.
He spoke about his experience there and the depths of this impending crisis.
