Arizona Gov. Ducey Signs Bill Giving Businesses 90 Days To Fix ADA Violations

Businesses will now have up to 90 days to bring their establishments into compliance with the Arizonans with Disabilities Act.

Legislation signed Tuesday by Gov. Doug Ducey adds the extended time period to put a stop to what proponents say are excessive lawsuits.

Disability groups and some legislators are speaking out about a late amendment, which changed the bill’s 30 day compliance period to 90 days just before passing.
