Southwest Airlines Union Dispute Case Moving From Arizona To Texas

A federal judge has granted Southwest Airlines’ request to transfer a lawsuit it faces over negotiations with the union representing its mechanics.

The case now leaves Arizona and moves to Texas, where the airline is litigating a separate suit against the union.

U.S. District Judge Murray Snow ruled this week that enough factors weigh in favor of sending the case to federal court in Dallas, including the convenience for people involved, the location of the evidence, and the lack of connections between the dispute and Arizona.
