Survey Finds Nearly 2,000 Open Teaching Jobs in Arizona for Next School Year

Arizona’s teacher shortage has been well-documented; we’ve talked about it a number of times here on The Show.

But new numbers released yesterday give a glimpse into just how many vacancies there are in the state’s classrooms.

The Arizona School Personnel Administrators Association surveyed districts and charter schools across the state.

The 51 that’ve responded so far say they have nearly 2,000 teacher vacancies for next year.
