Phoenix-based Cable One, the nation’s seventh-largest cable provider, is getting larger.
A $735 million purchase of NewWave Communications is now complete, bringing the total customer base for the combined companies to over 1 million.
Cable One is in 19 states already. NewWave adds services in several states, including rural areas across the South. The deal was originally announced in January as part of Cable One’s effort to expand into non-urban markets.
