Arizona is aiming for 60 percent of its residents between the ages of 25-64 to have some kind of post-secondary credential by 2030. That includes bachelor's or advanced degrees and other certificates and credentials.
About half the states nationwide have some kind of attainment goal like this, although Arizona’s is not set by the state, itself.
The effort is being led by Achieve60AZ, which is a coalition of 70 groups from across the state.
Christine Thompson is the alliance’s project manager, and she joins me.
