But a lesser-known holiday is being marked on Wednesday—International Spam Day.
It’s not a celebration of the spicy ham product. Frankly, it’s not a real celebration in any way. It’s a way to mark the e-mail you often aren’t interested in, what some call junk and what others call spam.
And the so-called Father of E-Spam is a Valley resident. His name is Gary Thuerk, and we talked with him.
