About 6 months ago, Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development filed for bankruptcy, according to The Arizona Republic.
The center had provided a range of services to young people facing homelessness for years like shelter services, counseling and resource centers.
Now, the Republic is reporting that another community nonprofit is taking over their operations: UMOM New Day Centers, which works to aid homeless families in the Valley.
