As we heard earlier from national correspondents on The Show, former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been appointed Special Counsel to look into possible connections between Russia and the Trump campaign.
This follows on the heels of word that the president allegedly shared intelligence information with Russia in a White House meeting, and that fired FBI Director James Comey was asked by the president to drop his investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
