The Arizona Supreme Court is expected to rule Thursday over former Attorney General Tom Horne's appeal on a campaign finance ruling stemming from his 2010 campaign.

A Yavapai County attorney ruled in 2013 that Horne and his aide, Kathleen Winn, illegally coordinated a campaign spending funds to launch a political scheme against opponent Democrat Felecia Rotellini.

Both Horne and Winn deny any wrongdoing.

If Horne loses this final appeal, he faces more than $1.5 million in fines and restitution.
