U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona today launched an initiative called NAFTA for AZ (NAFTA4AZ).
He wants to gather personal stories from Arizonans whose lives have been positively impacted by the North American Free Trade Agreement.
The Trump administration notified Congress earlier this month that it plans to renegotiate NAFTA but hasn’t given a lot of detail about those plans. Flake hopes to use the feedback from NAFTA for AZ during the re-negotiation.
