The Arizona Corporation Commission is in damage control mode this week after former Commissioner Gary Pierce was indicted last week for allegedly taking bribes.
Current Commissioner Tom Forese is calling for an audit of all policies Pierce voted for. He’s also calling for a code of ethics.
At the same time, Commissioner Bob Burns is still attempting to get Arizona Public Service, or APS, to hand over its political spending records after allegations that the state’s largest utility spent millions to influence elections.
So how much trust is left in the Commission? To talk more about that, I’m joined by Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
