Man Driving Wrong Way Arrested After Collisions With 5 Vehicles

Earlier this week, a Mesa man collided with five other vehicles while driving the wrong way. That man is now in jail.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says nobody was injured in the Monday night collisions on the U.S. 60, which led to the arrest of 32-year-old Trent Sanford Walker on suspicion of 24 counts of DUI, aggravated assault and other crimes.

DPS says Walker didn't stop after any of the collisions. He was arrested after he drove around a parked Highway Patrol vehicle. According to DPS, Walker said he had taken 15 to 20 tablets of cough medicine.
