Senate Republicans are reportedly preparing to release their health-care bill, aimed at repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act.
And, as work on that measure continues, a handful of senators — including Arizona’s Jeff Flake — are hearing from outside groups who support the ACA.
One, from the Democratic National Committee, basically just shows President Trump and House Republicans celebrating after that chamber passed the American Health Care Act.
Flake is also hearing from constituents, including a pair of state representatives. Reps. Heather Carter and Regina Cobb, the top two Republicans on the House Health Committee, have sent Flake a letter expressing their concerns with the AHCA. Carter joins me to talk about that.
