Arizona Schools See Slight Increase In International Students In 2017

The number of international students studying in Arizona has increased slightly from last year.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) report shows that as of last month, there were about 21,000 international students enrolled in an Arizona school. That’s a roughly 1.8 percent increase from 2016.

According to ICE, the biggest increases came from India and Kuwait.

Nationwide there are nearly 1.2 million international students studying at about 8,700 U.S. schools.
