The city of Prescott says one its largest annual events will go on as planned, despite the Goodwin Fire, which has burned 25,000 acres.
The Frontier Days World’s Oldest Rodeo and other events will go on as planned this weekend, city officials and event organizers said.
Prescott’s city manager said he has been in close contact with fire officials and is confident that firefighting crews are making great progress on the Goodwin Fire.
