A recent collaboration by the Institute for Women’s Policy Research and the National Domestic Workers Alliance has resulted in a report that attempts to provide a more complete picture of black women in the U.S.
The report is called “ The Status of Black Women in the United States.”
It explores six areas: employment and earnings; health and well-being; political participation; poverty and opportunity; violence and safety; and work and family.
To learn more, we spoke with Celeste Faison. She is the Black Organizing Coordinator at the National Domestic Workers Alliance.
