Prop. 206 Affecting Phoenix-Based Peanut Butter Company

Earlier this month, the paid sick leave provision of Proposition 206 took effect, mandating all workers get paid time off.

The higher minimum wage has already taken effect. Businesses have been working to adjust to the new law, but some are facing unexpected problems.

One of them is Phoenix-based Peanut Butter Americano. Jeff Malkoon is the company’s founder and owner, and he joins me.
