Global technology distributor Avnet announced Thursday it will use artificial intelligence to connect customers with the company.
Avnet representatives say the digital tool is a digital assistant to pair with clients, capable of learning a customer’s needs and offer solutions.
Company representatives say the “AskAvnet” artificial intelligence is a first for the company and the industry.
Avnet is one of the world’s largest distributors of electronic components with approximately $26 billion in sales last year.
