Mesa Plane Crash Victims Identified

A plane burst into flames after a crash landing in Mesa Monday. Mesa Police have now identified the victims as 53-year-old Alan Ram and 22-year-old Krista Buchanan. 

On Monday afternoon, a sleek black and white Lancair Evolution plane was headed for Mesa’s Falcon Field. The Federal Aviation Administration reported the pilot, Ram, experienced mechanical trouble before the plane crash landed on the 10th fairway at a nearby golf course.

Ram was a Scottsdale businessman lead Alan Ram's Proactive Training Solutions. His passenger was Krista Buchanan. Both were found dead at the scene. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
