The Arizona Diamondbacks have acquired Detroit Tigers outfielder J.D. Martinez in a trade for a trio of prospects.
While the trade is good for the Diamondbacks, it’s not a good thing for the Tigers' marketing staff. The trade leaves the Tigers with thousands of "Game of Thrones"-themed J.D. Martinez bobbleheads.
The giveaway was planned for July 28. There is no word on the future of the giveaway. But the Game of Thrones night package has been removed from the team’s website.
