Arizona Arts Commission Helps Communities Creatively Solve Problems

Communities across the state have problems they need to solve, and they’re generally looking for creative solutions to those problems.

But a new program aims to use a different approach and get more residents involved.

The Arizona Creative Communities Institute will help nine communities get the process started on solving their problems. It's run through the Arizona Commission on the Arts, with ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and the Southwest Folklife Alliance.

And with me to talk about it is Jaime Dempsey, deputy director of the Arizona Commission on the Arts.
