Group Continues To Push Immigration Reform

Recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program, have gotten some mixed messages over the past several months.

On one hand, then-candidate Trump promised to end the program, but last month, the administration announced it would keep its place.

And there are renewed efforts in Congress to pass a DREAM Act, which would protect so-called “Dreamers” from deportation.

Against this backdrop, the group FWD.us, which is backed by some of the biggest names in the tech world, is continuing its effort to get comprehensive immigration reform through Congress.

With me to talk about where those efforts stand now is Andrew Moriarty, a deputy organizing director with the group.
