It’s an issue Kate Wheeling takes on in an article in Pacific Standard Magazine .

In it, she looks at five landmarks in the Southwest: Glen Canyon Dam, Navajo Generating Station, Biosphere 2, the Navajo Sand Dunes and the Agua Caliente Solar Facility.
