Republican Sen. Jeff Flake is continuing to criticize his party. Flake is on a media tour as he promotes his new book, “Conscience of a Conservative.”
Over the weekend, he appeared on “Meet The Press.” He said that while the Republican Party has the power in Washington, they need to work in a more bipartisan manner.
“If we’re going to fix the big things that need to be fixed, in particular our debt and deficit, that has to be done with Republicans and Democrats,” Flake said.
Although Flake is critical of President Trump, he has voted with him more than 90 percent of the time.
Flake said that he will continue to vote with the President when he agrees with a decision and against him when he doesn’t.
