Taking Negative Online Stories — Offline

In 2013, Iraq War veteran Megan Welter was working as a cheerleader for the Arizona Cardinals when she and her boyfriend got into a fight. She was charged with assault after video showed her attacking him. That led to a series of negative stories about her online.

But, last year, Welter tried to change that. Through a somewhat complicated legal process, she and her lawyers sued to get the bad press taken down. And according to my next guest, that process is not terribly uncommon.
