The Florence Library and Community center is closed this week after monsoon storms caused significant flooding in the facility.
Officials said, due to building drainage issues, about 300 gallons of water made it inside.
Jess Knudson is a spokesman for the town. He said crews have a significant cleanup effort ahead of them.
"Floors, computers, a lot of the shelving, a lot of the millwork, things of that nature are all saturated with water and will take most of the week for cleanup," Knudson said.
Knudson said none of the library’s books sustained any damage.
The facility is expected to reopen on Friday.
