You might remember this endorsement of then-candidate Donald Trump last year. Well, since then, Joe Arpaio has been voted out of office as Maricopa County sheriff and convicted of criminal contempt of court.

Now President Trump is hinting that he may step in the ring for the former sheriff. The president told Fox News he is “seriously considering a pardon for Arpaio.”

This morning immigration activists and elected officials gathered for a press conference to denounce this possible pardon. State Rep. Tony Navarrete spoke there and he joins us now.
