"We the Resilient : Wisdom for America from Women Born Before Suffrage" by Sarah Bunin Benor.

On Friday, the 19th Amendment celebrated 97 years since it was ratified, granting women the right to vote.

Geraldine, or Jerry, Emmett remembers that day in 1920. She was 6 years old at the time and just celebrated her 103rd birthday last month.

She’s featured in a new book titled "We the Resilient: Wisdom for America from Women Born Before Suffrage." The Show's Annika Cline introduces us to her.
